What is Chemical Peel?

Chemical Peel are liquids brushed on to the face to remove dead skin cells and stimulate the growth of new cells. It is an excellent treatment choice for a wide range of skin concerns, from acne and hyperpigmentation (age spots, sun spots or brown spots) to advanced sign of aging (wrinkles), brightening skin.

☆Pre- treatment Preparation for chemical peel:

  1 week prior to chemical peel and even on the day of the chemical peel, the client should not be using any active ingredients on their face .

 Active ingredients to be avoided include:

    ●Retin A

    ●Lactic Acid

    ●Glycolic Acid

    ●Salicylic Acid

    ●Benzol Peroxide

    ●Differin

    ● Hydroquinone

    ●Topical Vitamins( Vitamin C)

 

Post Treatment       

    ●Skin is sensitive after the treatment , so we advice you to use gentle products on the skin 

                     for the next 24-48 hours.

    ●Avoid sun exposure for the next 24-48 hours. Avoid picking the skin while it is healing. 

    ●Avoid waxing  or use any depilatory cream on the area for 2 weeks.

    ●Avoid hot shower, hot tubs, or baths and swimming , exercise, extreme temperature changes for 48 hours.

    ●Avoid exfoliating for 48 hours .

    ●Apply sunscreen daily 

    ●Avoid active ingredients for 48 hours : ex Retin-A, Glycolic, Salicylic.

    ●Avoid heavy makeup for 24 hours.
